Welcome! By purchasing or requesting our EV charger installation services in Dubai, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully. Use of our services constitutes acceptance of these terms.

 

1. Scope of Services

Our EV charger installation services include:

• Site inspection and assessment

   

• Supply and installation of AC or DC chargers

   

• Electrical work, including integration with DEWA meters

   

• Testing, commissioning, and basic training

   

• Support with compliance documentation (e.g., DEWA RTAs, approvals)

   

Any additional work outside this scope (civil works, trenching, permits beyond DEWA, etc.) will be charged separately.

 

2. Eligibility

To be eligible for installation:

• You must own or legally occupy the premises.

   

• You must have an active DEWA electricity account.

   

• You must have parking rights at the installation location.

   

• The premises must have adequate electrical capacity and grounding per DEWA requirements.

 

3. Regulatory Compliance

We adhere strictly to:

• Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) regulations

   

• Dubai Municipality and Civil Defence safety codes

   

• Green Building standards (as applicable)

You agree to assist with any documentation needed for government approvals. Delays due to pending permits are not our responsibility.

 

4. Pricing and Payment

• All prices quoted are in AED and exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.

   

• 50% advance payment is required to confirm the order; the remaining 50% is due upon completion.

   

• Additional work, if required, will be quoted and invoiced separately.

   

• Late payments beyond 10 days may attract a 5% service fee.

 

5. Installation Timeline

• Installation is typically completed within 7–14 working days after site readiness and approval.

   

• Timelines are estimates and subject to permit approvals and weather conditions.

 

6. Warranty

We provide:

• 3-year standard warranty on AC chargers (extendable to 5 years)

   

• 2-year standard warranty on DC chargers (extendable to 3 years)

   

• Warranty covers manufacturing defects and installation workmanship

   

• Damage caused by misuse, unauthorised modifications, or external electrical faults is not covered.

 

7. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide full access to the installation site.

   

• Ensure a safe and obstruction-free environment.

   

• Not tamper with the equipment or connections.

   

• Notify us immediately if any malfunction is observed.

   

• Follow manufacturer’s guidelines for operation and maintenance.

 

8. Limitations of Liability

We are not liable for:

• Power fluctuations or failures from DEWA’s side

   

• Structural damages arising from customer-provided inaccurate site information

   

• Loss of income or usage during downtime or maintenance

   

• Any injury or damage resulting from unauthorised use of the installed charger

   

Our total liability is capped at the amount paid for the installation service.

 

9. Service Support and Maintenance

• Customers may opt for an annual maintenance contract (AMC) for priority support.

   

• Technical support is available 24×7 via phone, email, or mobile app (if applicable).

   

• Emergency call-outs may be chargeable if outside warranty or AMC scope.

   

10. Data Collection and Privacy Policy

By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of the following data:

 

Information We Collect

• Full name, contact details, Emirates ID or company trade license (for registration)

   

• Site address and DEWA account number

   

• Usage data from smart chargers (only where remote monitoring is enabled)

   

• Payment and billing details

 

How We Use Your Data

• To deliver and support the EV charger installation

   

• For warranty registration and post-installation support

   

• To comply with government requirements (e.g., DEWA, RTA)

   

For internal analytics and service improvement

 

Data Sharing

• We do not sell or rent your data to third parties.

   

• Data may be shared with:

   

  • Government authorities (if required by law)

     

  • Our licensed subcontractors or technicians under confidentiality agreements

     

  • DEWA for registration or smart meter integration

 

Data Storage and Security

• All data is stored securely on UAE-based or GDPR-compliant servers.

   

• We use encryption and access controls to safeguard customer data.

 

Your Rights

• You may request access, correction, or deletion of your data at any time.

11. Cancellation and Refunds

• Cancellation before site inspection: Full refund

   

• Cancellation after inspection but before installation: 30% of invoice is non-refundable

   

• Cancellation after installation begins: No refund; any partial installation work will be billed

   

• Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 14 business days

   

12. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays or failure in performance due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, government restrictions, pandemics, or war.

 

13. Intellectual Property

All materials, guides, software (like EV apps or CPMS portals), and documentation provided remain the intellectual property of [Company Name] or its licensors. Unauthorized duplication or use is prohibited.

 

14. Dispute Resolution

• Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably.

   

• Failing that, disputes will be settled under the jurisdiction of the Dubai Courts in accordance with UAE laws.

We may revise these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on our website. Continued use of our services implies acceptance of updated terms.
